Today, Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Committee, announced this week’s Small Business of the Week to be Boyett Printing & Graphics, Inc. of Shreveport, La.

“With a philosophy founded on trust, reasonable prices, quality work, and friendliness, Boyett Printing & Graphics, Inc. has clearly found a way to flourish, from printing church bulletins in their living room to now employing seven full-time workers,” said Vitter. “I am honored to recognize a business that anticipates its customers’ needs, works with urgency and enthusiasm, and provides necessary services to the community with such dedication and convenience.”

Founded in 1994, Boyett Printing & Graphics, Inc. began in the living room of John and Janet Boyett, as they printed church bulletins for the local Broadmoor Baptist Church. Boyett Printing & Graphics, Inc. provides the northwest region of Louisiana with printing and graphic design services, and prioritize environmentally conscious business decisions, including recycling, using biodegradable inks and water soluble chemicals, and purchasing their paper from decades-old tree farms.

As Chairman of the Small Business Committee, Vitter is continuing the tradition of honoring local small businesses each week.
