Today, U.S. Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship (SBC), announced Think Business, Inc. of Metairie, La. as Small Business of the Week, and will be submitting it into the official Congressional Record.

“The sacrifice and service of our nation’s veterans cannot be understated. Beyond invaluable contributions to our nation’s security, our veterans continue serving folks throughout our communities long after leaving active duty, including through their dedication and success as small business owners,” said Vitter. "I am honored to recognize Teresa Garner and Think Business, Inc. of Metairie, La. as Small Business of the Week. Thank you for your service and ongoing commitment to your community and small business owners across Louisiana.”

In 2004, Teresa Garner founded Think Business Inc. with the goal of providing creative troubleshooting solutions in order to strengthen and support local small businesses from strategic planning to bookkeeping and payroll. A veteran, Teresa served eight years in the Army Reserve, including a tour in Operation Desert Storm.

Earlier this month, Vitter passed a bipartisan Senate Resolution designating the week of November 2 through November 6, 2015 as National Veterans Small Business Week. Click here to read more.
