On Monday, July 13, 2015, Senator David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, will hold a field hearing in Livingston, La. to discuss ways to improve the flow of commerce to help support local small businesses. Ahead of the field hearing, Vitter will hold a town hall meeting. Both are open to the public.

The hearing will include testimony from expert witnesses who will discuss ways to relieve traffic congestion and how improving our roads and bridges will help our local economy and small entities. Vitter will also discuss his bipartisan legislation, the DRIVE Act, a long-term surface transportation reauthorization bill that he helped pass out of the Environment and Public Works Committee in recent weeks.
