“And today, I’m proud to honor Best Memories Academy in Orlando, Florida as the Senate Small Business of the Week.

“For twenty years, Best Memories Academy has provided high-quality childcare in Orange County.

“Their early childhood bilingual education and language therapy services support a primarily Hispanic community.

“Like many small businesses, Best Memories Academy was impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

“Despite a drop in enrollment, they stayed open to continue caring for the children of essential workers.

“In early April, Best Memories Academy was approved for a Paycheck Protection Program loan.

“They were able to keep their thirteen employees paid, provide distance learning for their students, and stay open until enrollment began to rise.

“Congratulations to the entire team at Best Memories Academy.

“You are the Senate Small Business of the Week!

“I look forward to your continued success and service to the Orlando community.”
