SPRINGFIELD - The U.S. Small Business Administration is trying to make businesses aware that the federal Economic Stimulus Package can give them a tax break if they invest in equipment before the end of the year.
"With the economy, there is a hesitancy on the part of small business to make any kind of investments," Sandford Blitz, the SBA regional administrator for New England, said yesterday. "If they wait, after Dec. 31, they won't be able to take advantage of the stimulus package."
