WASHINGTON – United States Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship Chair, Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., today issued the following statement on the announcement that the Small Business Administration (SBA) will team up with Count Me In for Women’s Economic Development to promote opportunities for women entrepreneurs:
“Through this partnership, the SBA and Count Me In will coordinate resources to provide valuable new media tools that will assist women entrepreneurs in starting, growing and strengthening their businesses. It is an exciting development, and exactly the kind of relationship that will provide women business owners with the tools they need to be more effective and competitive in the global marketplace.”
The announcement comes as we continue to recognize October as Women’s Small Business Month.
