Saturday in Newington, Shaheen to attend Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Ceremony
U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), the Ranking Member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, will host a roundtable discussion with New Hampshire small business leaders and the U.S. Small Business Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet on how to help start and grow New Hampshire businesses, Monday, April 20 at 11:45 a.m. in Manchester.
The event will provide an opportunity for New Hampshire start-ups to learn more about the support and resources made available from the Small Business Administration, which recently announced the Growth Accelerator Fund competition to award $4 million for small business startups.
Earlier on Monday, Shaheen will attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the Concord Main Street Project at 10:00 a.m. Shaheen wasinstrumental in securing a $4.71 million federal TIGER grant for the project.
Tomorrow (Saturday), at Pease Air National Guard Base in Newington, Shaheen will attend the Seacoast Area Vietnam Veterans Welcome Home Ceremony at 2:00 p.m. Shaheen will give remarks honoring the service of New Hampshire veterans who served in Vietnam.
