WASHINGTON – Chair of the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., today sends her congratulations to small business, The Receivables Exchange (TRE).

“Congratulations, TRE,” Senator Landrieu said. “With your hard work, you have helped countless small businesses across the country access much-needed capital and remain viable in this tough economic climate. It just goes to show that all good deeds are rewarded with this recent venture and successful expansion for TRE.”

The New Orleans-based small business started as a receivables financing company to help small and mid-sized businesses. However, today, the company announced a strategic alliance with the NYSE Euronext, launching TRE’s Corporate Receivables Program for large companies.

To celebrate the alliance, TRE will ring the Closing Bell at the NYSE today at 4 p.m. ET. The bell ringing will be broadcast live on the web, through Windows Media and Flash.
