Today, Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Committee, announced two Louisiana small businesses will receive a Mission Main Street Grant from JP Morgan Chase & Co.
“Bill Lewis Outdoors and the New Orleans School of Cooking were selected out of tens of thousands of small businesses from all over the country to receive a major grant that will help them thrive and be even better job creators,” said Vitter. “Louisiana small businesses are the backbones of our communities, and it’s always great to see them pursuing and sharing their passions, whether it’s manufacturing quality fishing equipment or teaching others to cook our local cuisine.”
Bill Lewis Outdoors in Alexandria, La., and the New Orleans School of Cooking in New Orleans, La., will each receive a $150,000 grant and the opportunity to participate in a small business marketing workshop with 18 other grant recipients.
