Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Jim Risch (R-ID) applauded President Trump for donating his salary to the Small Business Administration (SBA) for programs supporting our veterans. Specifically, SBA Administrator Linda McMahon said the funds will be used to establish a seven-month intensive training program designed to help veterans transition from the military to the private sector.
“President Trump's actions meet his words on both veterans and small businesses,” said Senator Risch. “Millions of veterans have transitioned from service to entrepreneurship, tapping into the SBA programs designed to meet their unique circumstances and needs. The President’s investment is one more resource for the SBA to use in supporting our veterans and helping them start and grow a business.”
