U.S. Senator David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship (SBC), today joined Liz Claman, host of “Closing Bell with Liz Claman” on the Fox Business Channel to shine a spotlight on small businesses and entrepreneurs affected by recent unprecedented flooding that has devastated much of south Louisiana. During the exchange, Vitter highlighted the mass devastation of small businesses and homeowners in the wake of the storm, as well as the need for immediate resources so that they can quickly begin the rebuilding and recovery process.
Tomorrow on Thursday, August 25, 2016, Vitter will host Maria Contreras-Sweet, Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA) in south Louisiana to tour the flood-impacted areas in person. Chairman Vitter and Administrator Contreras-Sweet will visit Business Recovery Centers, business owners, and homeowners in multiple affected parishes. Click here for more information.
