U.S. Senator David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, today announced The Learning Train of Lafayette, La. to be Small Business of the Week, and has submitted The Learning Train into the official Congressional record.
“Our children and future generations deserve the very best care and education that we can provide, which is why The Learning Train, a family-owned child care center, plays such a critical role in Lafayette and the surrounding area,” said Vitter. “It is great to see small businesses like The Learning Train actively participate in and give back to their local communities. It is my honor to recognize The Learning Train as Small Business of the Week.”
The Learning Train opened its doors to the Lafayette community in 2013. The center offers a wide variety of classes designed to hone developmental skills in children ages 6 months to 4 years old. The center’s structured learning activities aid in developing social bonds, sharpen technical skills, and provide a fun, safe environment for children to learn and explore.
As Chairman of the Small Business Committee, Vitter is continuing the tradition of honoring local small businesses each week.
