Today, U.S. Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship (SBC), announced MetalCraft Manufacturing of Shreveport, La. as Small Business of the Week, and will be submitting it into the official Congressional Record.

“Part of what makes Louisiana unique is the many manufacturers that are found throughout the state, providing good-paying jobs and high quality service to our varied industries,” said Vitter. “Since 2008, Todd Leleaux’s small metal manufacturing shops have provided skilled metal works services to folks across Louisiana, creating scores of good-paying jobs and providing top-notch customer service along the way. Congratulations to MetalCraft Manufacturing for being selected as Small Business of the Week, and I look forward to your continued growth and success.”

In 2008, Todd Leleux acquired MetalCraft manufacturing with the goal of bringing a high level of expertise and craftsmanship to industries ranging from agriculture to petroleum and providing Northwest Louisiana’s oil and gas industry with quality metal works services and exceptional customer support. In 2011, MetalCraft expanded into a second location in Lafayette, La., where Garland Champagne and Jeff Prejean and their team specialize in the fabrication and repair needs of the oil and gas industry along the Gulf Coast. Today, MetalCraft continues to serve the North Louisiana and Gulf Coast regions with the same keen focus on quality service and commitment to excellence.

As SBC Chairman, Vitter continues the tradition of honoring America’s small businesses and entrepreneurs.
