This week, Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Committee, recognized family-owned and operated S & W Wholesale Foods, which serves southeast Louisiana and parts of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, as Small Business of the Week.

“Small businesses like S & W Wholesale Foods are inspirational due to their long-term commitment to providing the best available products, while also supporting an environment in which local restaurants and businesses work together to succeed,” said Vitter. “S & W Wholesale Foods is a great example of how hard work and quality service are the building blocks of growing a small business from 5,000 square feet to two locations across southeast Louisiana, and I am honored to recognize them as Small Business of the Week.”

S & W Wholesale Foods opened its doors in 1978 and distributes essential foods and restaurant supplies to surrounding restaurants, bakeries, childcare centers, convenience stores, and other local businesses.

As Chairman of the Small Business Committee, Vitter is continuing the tradition of honoring local small businesses each week.
