WASHINGTON – The United States Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, which is chaired by Senator Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., will hold three small business workshops across Louisiana entitled, “Keeping It Simple: Tax Basics for Small Businesses.” The workshop focuses on tax for small businesses and entrepreneurs.

“Filing your taxes can be a daunting task for anyone, and for small business owners, it can sometimes be overwhelming,” Senator Landrieu said. “As I work with my colleagues to simplify the tax code and reduce regulatory burdens on America’s entrepreneurs, I have asked my staff to reach out to Louisiana small business owners and help them find their way through the maze of regulations and requirements.”

The programs, being hosted by staff from the Small Business Committee with expertise in tax, will be held in various parts of Louisiana, including Walker, Slidell, and Hammond.
