On Monday, August 10, 2015, U.S. Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Committee, will host a forum entitled, “Increasing Safety on Louisiana's Roads and Bridges While Improving the Flow of Goods and Services" in Gonzales, Louisiana.

Chairman Vitter and expert participants will examine the need to relieve traffic congestion and improve and modernize our roads and bridges in order to prevent poor road and driving conditions from causing accidents and injuries for Louisiana’s motorists. They will also discuss policy priorities that would help eliminate the threat of injury and accidents on roadways in Louisiana communities while improving the flow of commerce. These policy priorities include the need for a long-term transportation reauthorization bill that would invest in improved safety measures to modernize, improve, and maintain our nation’s transportation infrastructure for drivers, passengers, and pedestrians.
